Pre-Mixed Concrete Ltd, Premix concrete has been vertically integrated with Lafarge Mauritius since 2010. The concrete activity of Lafarge (Mauritius) offers a whole range of concrete products ranging from the classic grey concrete to high-performance and decorative concrete. An innovation for our evolving market and whose needs go beyond traditional products. The company’s concrete activity, benefits from the unique global technical expertise of the LafargeHolcim research centre in France and has, from that, been a leading innovative actor, namely in the embellishment of Mauritius, by being the first concrete operator to propose decorative and tailor made concrete solutions to its customers.
Premix operates 4 batching units located at four strategic positions throughout the island with a total production capacity of 210 m 3/h to ensure proper back-up at any time, wherever the location of a project, namely:
