Lafarge (Mauritius) has acquired a cement ship unloader from Netherlands to facilitate the unloading of cement. This state-of-the-art equipment enables the company to take charge of open hold ships more quickly. The cement ship unloader, which has a capacity of 450 tons/hour, pumps the cement directly from the holds with its articulated arm and transfers it to the nine silos belonging to Lafarge (Mauritius).
